Me

Who am I?

My name is Amy Kasunic, and I am a make-up artist in the fields of beauty, character and special effects. I am a graduate of the accredited Make-up Designory of Burbank, and although I consider having worked at make-up my whole life, I have been working in the industry for over six years.
My training comprised of deep knowledge in the areas of beauty & straight make-up, character and prosthetics, and special effects. Furthermore, I have benefited from considerable training in studio hairstyling. Because of such training, I am available to work in any field, and I enjoy each thoroughly and love every chance I get to work in either. My experience in the industry ranges from student thesis projects and fashion shows, and more recently, independent films and features with celebrity talent. My experience with formats includes HD, 16mm, 35mm and super 16mm. In addition, I am also affiliated with a special effects laboratory (Silver Shamrock Labs, formerly Evolution Effects Studio, Inc).
You'll find that I am very adaptable, work well with others and have a strong work ethic. What's more, I pride myself on my professionalism. Notwithstanding, I love having fun at what I do. It is my goal to work with you to translate your vision of what you are looking for in make-up design as closely as possible. I am fluent in English and French, and have a working knowledge of Spanish. I also have a valid passport and am willing to travel nationally and internationally. Moreover, I have Canadian citizenship, as well as permanent residency in the United States and Canada, and am able to work in both countries.

Thank you for you time and consideration of my blog.

Sincerely,

Amy Kasunic
